auto redirect www.example.com to example.com

for better seo, we need to get rid of the redundant www on domains as it now serves absolutely no purpose.
add the 3 lines below to your .htaccess.
## redirect www.astox.com to astox.com
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.example.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://example.com/$1 [L,R=301]
